Your Privacy Choices

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last Updated: March 18, 2026

This notice describes your rights to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar state privacy laws across the United States. This page serves as our official “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” notice.

Our Commitment: We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information

StartupBros LLC d/b/a PR Bot (“PR Bot,” “we, ” “us,” or “our”) does not sell your personal information in exchange for monetary consideration. We have never sold personal information and have no plans to do so.

However, certain activities may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” under the broad definitions used in some state privacy laws. We provide this notice to give you full transparency and the ability to exercise your opt-out rights.

What Counts as “Selling” or “Sharing” Under State Privacy Laws

Under the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws, a “sale” includes making personal information available to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. “Sharing” under the CPRA specifically means making personal information available to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not for monetary consideration.

Other state privacy laws (such as those in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, and others) use similar or overlapping definitions, including “targeted advertising” — the display of advertising based on personal information obtained from a consumer's activity across unaffiliated websites or applications.

Activities That May Constitute “Sharing” or “Targeted Advertising”

Based on the broadest reasonable interpretation of applicable state laws, the following activities on our Service may qualify as “sharing” or as supporting “targeted advertising”:

ActivityThird PartyData CategoriesPurpose
Website analyticsGoogle LLC (Google Analytics)Device identifiers, browsing behavior, IP address (anonymized)Traffic analysis and site improvement
Product analyticsPostHog Inc.Usage patterns, feature interactions, session dataProduct improvement and bug detection
Affiliate referral trackingAffiliate partners (via Stripe Connect)Referral source, conversion event (no PII)Commission attribution for affiliate partners

Activities That Are Not a Sale or Sharing

The following data disclosures are not considered a sale or sharing under applicable law because they are necessary to provide the services you requested, are made to our service providers under written contracts that restrict their use of your data, or fall within recognized exceptions:

  • AI processing — Sending your professional profile data to OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google AI to generate media pitches on your behalf (service provider / contractual necessity)
  • Media outreach — Transmitting your name, credentials, and AI-generated pitches to Featured.com for submission to journalists (core service delivery)
  • Payment processing — Sharing billing information with Stripe for subscription management (service provider)
  • Hosting and infrastructure — Vercel and Supabase processing data as part of application hosting (service provider)
  • CRM and support — GoHighLevel processing chat messages you initiate (service provider)

How to Opt Out

You may exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information using any of the following methods:

Option 1: Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we automatically treat it as a valid opt-out request for the sale and sharing of personal information associated with that browser. No further action is required on your part.

GPC is supported in browsers including Firefox, Brave, and DuckDuckGo, and via browser extensions such as Privacy Badger and OptMeowt. Visit globalprivacycontrol.org to enable it.

Option 2: Cookie Preferences

Use the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of any page on our website to open the cookie consent manager. Rejecting non-essential cookies will disable analytics and marketing cookies that may constitute “sharing.”

Option 3: Contact Us Directly

Email privacy@prbot.ai with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”. Include your name and email address associated with your account, and we will process your request within 15 business days.

What Happens After You Opt Out

  • We will stop sharing your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising purposes
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, PostHog) will be disabled for your browser session
  • Your opt-out preference will persist in your browser via our cookie consent mechanism
  • Core service functionality (AI pitch generation, media outreach, account management) will not be affected
  • If you use a different browser or device, you will need to opt out again on that browser/device (or enable GPC)

Submitting Requests Through an Authorized Agent

Under applicable state laws, you may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. To do so, the authorized agent must provide:

  • Written authorization signed by you (the consumer), or a valid power of attorney
  • Proof of the agent's identity (government-issued ID or business registration)
  • Your name and email address associated with your PR Bot account

Authorized agent requests should be sent to privacy@prbot.ai with the subject line “Authorized Agent — Privacy Opt-Out.” We may contact you directly to verify the request.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. Specifically, we will not:

  • Deny you access to our Service
  • Charge you different prices or rates, whether through higher prices or the denial of discounts or benefits
  • Provide you with a different level or quality of service
  • Retaliate against you in any way, including against employees who exercise their rights
